REMOTE OPERATION

WARNING

To maintain control of the vehicle during suspension height adjustment, make sure that the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) is applied. Failure to do so can result in serious injury or death.

WARNING

The smart key can be operated from inside or outside of the vehicle. Make sure that the smart key is always kept safely out of children’s reach, to avoid serious injury or death.

WARNING

Make sure that the vehicle is clear of people and obstacles before adjusting the suspension.

CAUTION

Care should be taken with all suspension height changes, when a trailer is attached to the vehicle.

The buttons on the smart key can be used to operate the electronic air suspension system, allowing the vehicle to be raised or lowered remotely. Useful when loading or unloading the vehicle, connecting or disconnecting a trailer, and slow speed maneuvering of a connected trailer.

To change the suspension height using the smart key, the hazard warning lamps must be switched on. Make sure to select Neutral (N) and apply the Electric Parking Brake (EPB) to maintain control of the vehicle.

NOTES

The suspension will adjust if the vehicle's doors are open, but the vehicle may not lower to its minimum setting.

To lower the vehicle, simultaneously press and hold the approach lamps button (1) and the tailgate unlock button (2) on the smart key.

To raise the vehicle, simultaneously press and hold the approach lamps button (1) and the unlock button (3) on the smart key.

To set the vehicle to normal height, simultaneously press and hold the approach lamps button (1) and the lock button (4) on the smart key.
