TOUCH SCREEN HOME MENU

WARNING

Do not adjust the Touch screen controls, or allow the system to distract the driver, while the vehicle is moving. Driver distraction can lead to accidents, causing serious injury or death.

CAUTION

Always run the engine during prolonged use of the Touch screen. Failure to do so may discharge the vehicle's battery; preventing the engine from starting.

CAUTION

Do not use excessive pressure when selecting items on the Touch screen.

CAUTION

Avoid spilling or splashing liquids onto the Touch screen.

The Shortcuts Menu is the next screen to the left of the Home menu screen. Use the System settings menu to enable/disable, select, or change which vehicle features are displayed on the Shortcuts Menu screen. See SYSTEM SETTINGS.

The Extra features menu is the next screen to the right of the Home menu screen. See EXTRA FEATURES.

  1. Touch to select Valet mode. During menu mode, the icon is changed to the back icon; touch to return to the previous screen.

  2. While the Navigation system is operating, touch to repeat the last given navigation instruction. During a phone call, the icon is changed to a phone icon; touch to end a call.

  3. Time display: Touch to adjust the time/date.

  4. Touch to carry out the following operations:

    When a phone is paired: Access the phonebook.

    When a phone is not paired: Access the phone connection screen.

  5. Touch to display the Phone menu screen. See PHONE OVERVIEW SYSTEM.

    This may also display the following:

    The currently connected phone's name and network, or the phone's pairing status.

    Phone icons (e.g., do not disturb, battery status, signal strength, Bluetooth, voicemail).

  6. Touch to navigate to the right of the currently displayed screen.

  7. Touch to carry out the following operations:

    When no route guidance is selected: Access the Destination entry menu.

    When route guidance is selected: Cancel guidance.

  8. Touch to display the Nav menu screen.

    This may also display the following:

    When no route guidance is selected: The vehicle's current location is shown.

    When route guidance is selected: The location of the current destination, the destination/waypoint icon, Expected Time of Arrival (ETA), and the time and distance to the current destination/waypoint are shown.

    Navigation icons (e.g., destination entry, cancel guidance, etc.).

  9. Touch to select the Setup menu. See TOUCH SCREEN SETUP.

  10. Press to select the Setup menu. See TOUCH SCREEN SETUP.

  11. Press to display the Media menu screen.

  12. Press to display the Phone menu screen.

  13. Press to display the Nav menu screen.

  14. Press to display the Home menu screen.

    NOTES

    The amount of features displayed on the Home menu screen, is dependent on the vehicle's specification.

  15. Press to display the Audio settings menu. When Surround cameras are fitted, this icon is changed and the button will turn the cameras on/off.

  16. Screen position indicator, for the currently displayed screen.

  17. Touch to switch the Touch screen off. Press the Home menu button to switch the Touch screen back on.

  18. Touch to display the Media menu screen. See AUDIO/VIDEO CONTROLS.

    Dependent on the status of the current media selections, this may also display:

    File and status information for the current media selection.

    Audio icon/information (e.g., news, AM/FM, album/song title, etc.).

  19. Touch to carry out the following operations:

    CD, Bluetooth, and USB: Alternate between play and pause.

    DVD in normal play: Short press to pause, or long press to activate slow play.

    DVD in slow play or paused: Activate normal play.

  20. Touch to navigate to the left of the currently displayed screen.
