2019 Range Rover

Do not look directly into the headlights or other light sources while the dipped or high beam functions are operating. Doing so may result in serious injury.

Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the headlight. Doing so may result in serious injury or death.

The Supplementary Laser High Beam (SLHB) emits highly concentrated visible light, which can cause irritation or damage to the retina in the back of the eye. The SLHB modules used in these headlights are classified by legislation as Class 2M Light-Emitting Diodes (LEDs).

The SLHB is an additional light which operates as part of the high beam system and extends its range. The SLHB system is enabled only when the lights are in AUTO mode and Adaptive Driving Beam (ADB) is also enabled.

SLHB is activated automatically once the vehicle's speed reaches 80 km/h (50 mph) and the camera does not detect other vehicle or street lights. SLHB automatically deactivates when the vehicle's speed slows to 75 km/h (47 mph).

To enable or disable the SLHB:

  1. Select Exterior lighting via the Vehicle settings menu in the instrument panel.

  2. Select Headlights high beam.

  3. Select Laser high beam ON or OFF.
