TYRE PRESSURE CHECK

The vehicle’s current tyre pressures can be displayed via the Vehicle and Tyre information menus. See INSTRUMENT PANEL MENU OPERATION.

When selected, the instrument panel displays two tyre pressure values for each tyre. One value shows the actual tyre pressure, the other (in brackets) is the advised inflation pressure.

The advised inflation pressures change, based on ambient conditions and as air temperature within the tyres fluctuates during use.

NOTES

The advised inflation pressures do not necessarily align with the vehicle’s pressure label due to warming of the tyres through driving and changes in ambient conditions.

NOTES

Always inflate the tyres to the advised inflation pressures displayed in the Tyre Pressures menu.

NOTES

If any of the wheels or tyres have been removed, the displayed tyre pressures may not be valid. Drive the vehicle for at least 15 minutes in order to re-calibrate the system.

NOTES

The tyre pressure units can be configured to display as either bar, psi, or kPa via the Vehicle and Units menus. See SYSTEM SETTINGS.

Tyre pressures may not be displayed after the following actions:

  • Disconnection of the vehicle's battery.

  • Repairs to the TPMS system.

  • Software updates.

The tyre pressures are displayed after the vehicle is driven at 25 km/h (16 mph) for 5 to 10 minutes.
